Recruiter Front End (RFE)¶
Overview¶
The Recruiter Front End (RFE) is the interview suite web interface used
by viasto’s customers. It’s accessed at
https://{company_identifier}.interview-suite.com/.
Candidates use the Candidate Front End (CFE) and have no access to the RFE.
Key Pages/Screens¶
Dashboards¶
Three dashboards provide a quick overview of interviews:
- The active dashboard is the default dashboard and lists all interviews that are ready for candidate participation. Candidates can be invited to one of the listed interviews from this dashboard.
- The drafts dashboard shows interviews that are not (yet) ready for candidate participation.
- The archived dashboard shows interviews that have been closed. Results remain available to users until an interview is deleted.
All Account Types can access all dashboards.
New Interview¶
This screen is used to create a new interview. No candidates can be invited from this screen.
Hiring Managers are not permitted to create new interviews and don’t have access to this screen.
Interview Details¶
This screen shows details about a specific interview. It can also be used to:
- make changes to a draft interview
- invite and manage candidates in an active interview
- manage participating users (eg. evaluators) in an active interview
Most users only have access to this screen if they have a role in the interview (eg. Interview Manager or Evaluator).
Account Admins and Account Owners have access to this screen even without a role in the interview.
Evaluation¶
Users with any role in the interview can view candidate answer videos on this screen.
Users with the Evaluator role can additionally submit ratings for candidates’ answers on this screen.
Account Admins and Account Owners have access to this screen without a role in the interview.
Results¶
Users with any role in the interview, along with Account Admins and Account Owners, can view and explore candidate rating results for the interview on this screen.
Users with the Evaluator role will only be shown the results of candidates they have themselves already evaluated.
Company Settings¶
Account Admins and Account Owners can configure the behaviour of the interview suite via this screen.
Knowledge Center¶
viasto’s customer support database is referred to as the “interview suite Knowledge Center”, and is provided by Zendesk. Due to authentication limitations, the Knowledge Center is accessible exclusively via the RFE.

Linking to the appropriate page for an APIv3 record¶
Some resources (such as Project and Candidate) offer a read-only interview_suite_url as part of their payload.
You may redirect your end users to this record-specific URL to send them directly to the appropriate page in the RFE.
If you require the interview_suite_url for a resource that does not yet provide it, please contact helpdesk@interview-suite.com.
