Technical Requirements¶
This resource is provided to help IT administrators configure their organisation’s network and devices for the interview suite.
The interview suite is accessed by your HR team using a web browser. No additional software is required.
Supported Browsers¶
This table lists the browsers for which the interview suite is developed, and in which it is regularly tested. A check mark indicates full support.
Listed features have different requirements for corporate users (your HR team) and candidates, because the corporate and candidate software have their own unique workflows and functionalities.

Live Video Interviews
The interview suite includes an optional Live Video Interview feature using TokBox (external link). Additional browser requirements apply if your HR team uses this feature. Please see the TokBox requirements page (external link).
Supported Operating Systems¶
The above browsers are fully supported only when used on one of the following operating systems (where applicable):
- Windows 7
- Windows 8
- Windows 10
- MacOS 10.8 or later
- Android 7+
- iOS 9+
Network Requirements¶
The interview suite is a video-based tool and performs best when given appropriate bandwidth for HD video streaming. If your organisation implements IP traffic prioritisation (Quality of Service) it may be necessary to add additional rules in order that interview suite users can play back videos without excess wait time.
Further, the domains or IP addresses used by the interview suite may need to be whitelisted if your organisation restricts network traffic.
The interview suite operates on TCP ports 80 and 443 within the subnet 93.92.135.0/27. All requests to port 80 (HTTP) will be redirected to port 443 (HTTPS).
Your HR team will access the interview suite at the following domains:
- [your-company-subdomain].interview-suite.com
- www.interview-suite.com
- interview-suite.com
The interview suite also needs to load resources from these domains in order to function correctly:
- recorder.viasto.com
- fonts.googleapis.com
- fonts.gstatic.com
- use.fontawesome.com
- www.google.com/recaptcha
These additional domains are essential for end-user support through helpdesk articles and live chat:
- helpdesk.interview-suite.com
- support.interview-suite.com
- js.intercomcdn.com
- api-iam.intercom.io
- static.intercomassets.com
- widget.intercom.io
The interview suite reports errors and usage statistics to the following domains so that our support team can respond quickly and effectively:
- sentry.viasto.com
- piwik.viasto.com
Recorded Video Interviews¶
Your HR team will be streaming video from the interview suite. The video is not live, so should be prioritised below VoIP and live video calls in your network. To ensure appropriate bandwidth for video playback, the interview suite should receive higher priority than your unclassified network traffic.
Live Video Interviews¶
Please run a connectivity test (external link) from your organisation’s network if your HR team uses the optional Live Video Interview feature. Live Video Interviews are live video conferences and require high network priority. Recommended network configuration is provided by TokBox (external link).
