Project

A project can have different statuses but only one at a time. In each status it’s possible or not possible to do certain actions. This page explains these statuses and what they imply.

Note

As the our system evolved over time, some terms became obsolete and we found better terms. This is why you may find two terms for each project status in this documentation. The old terms are still used in the API but in the new frontends we’ll switch to new terms.

Available Statuses

API names and in braces the new terms used in the new frontends:

  • 10-incomplete (draft)
  • 40-running (active)
  • 60-closed (archived)

Life cycle

The diagram below describes the life cycle of a project starting in the draft status.

Status descriptions

10-incomplete (draft)

Initial status for new projects, when details, videos, questions and participants (evaluators, interview manager/administrator and reviewers) can be added or modified.

A project may be created from an existing template, which includes pre-defined videos, questions and criteria for evaluation.

Once a project is ready it can be activated which means its status must be changed to 40-running.

40-running (active)

In an active project it is not possible to change questions and criteria, while candidates, participants, videos and project details can still be modified. It is also still allowed to re-invite, edit and add new candidates.

When the hiring process is finished the project can be archived which means its status must be changed to 60-closed.

Note

In the New Recruiter FrontEnd candidates can only be added when project is in active status.

60-closed (archived)

A closed project doesn’t allow candidate interviews and evaluation is read only mode, allowing query on project details and results page.

Project Deletion

A project can also be deleted, which means it disappears from listings. All candidates, their answers and ratings are instantaneously removed from our servers.
